We would like to take this opportunity to share a little information about our cottages. Whether you are looking for an intimate cottage for two or need to accommodate a much larger group, one of our Wildflower Cottages is just what you're looking for. All of our cottages were built prior to the 1930's and each outside space has rockers, so that you can enjoy the fresh mountain breezes and the coming and going of butterflies and birds in the gardens by day, and the star-filled skies by night.
The Webster House was a summer home, built in 1898, by the Spencer Gregg family. It was purchased in 1917 by John Webster and has remained in the Webster family for three generations. This incredible home has a lovely porch, perfect for enjoying the evening scenery.
The Hummingbird Cottage has a sun porch with beautiful gardens and is the perfect cozy getaway home.
The Desert Willow has a wonderful 30 foot covered porch, pillow-top beds and a great patio for grilling or just relaxing.
Casa Hermosa Suites was created in our recent renovation of a barracks that once housed pilots in training during World War II. Both suites have private patios and separate parking areas to ensure the privacy of our guests.
Blue Agave Bungalow is a lovely stucco home with a private walled courtyard. There are two patios with pecan and cottonwood trees offering a great shade-filled experience while relaxing outdoors in your rocker to enjoy the view of Sleeping Lion Mountain.
Every house has a fully equipped kitchen that has everything from wine glasses to a mountain view. Although we are not a bed & breakfast, we do provide coffee, filters and coffeemaker so you can enjoy mornings and evenings on the porch without having to leave the comfort of your retreat.
All linens are provided. Just bring your personal things and a sweater, because mornings and evenings are often cool here in the highest city in Texas.
